I'm new to the world of Omegas. Have just bought a 97 3.0 Elite estate. The
steering snatches under braking sometimes and have been told it could be the
bushes on the wishbones. I have read other messages and it seems to be the
norm to change the whole wishbone. There are a few on eBay, are these
anygood?
But before I do this, is there anything I can check?

They do often go bad. If you go to www.buypartsby.com they should
have some QH ones for 25 quid each or so. The "bargain" 80 quid ones
on ebay are probably just these.

Usually inspection will show you whether the wishbones are bad.
