    Hi
I wonder if anyone on here has changed the rocker gasket on a 2.5 V6 (right
hand side) The dealer has said the cover and gasket needs changing as its a
1994 model .Any advice would be appreciated.
    thanks

It's a rather fiddly job, so I paid someone else to do it :-/ ( 2hours
labour)...Common problem on all Omega V6s, I suggest a surf over to
the 'omega_owners' group on Yahoo, where this subject has been
    discussed again recently.

I had just the driver's side done on mine...cover & gasket plus all
the other gaskets you need to change to get at the cover came to 70
quid for parts from Vauxhall, even with 40% discount. Now the
passenger side gasket has gone :-((

There was a post about this recently. Vauxhall only sell the gasket as part
of the cover but it is worth buying as a separate gasket will not last.

It is a pig of a job too!

Have now found that a gasket can be bought without the rocker cover at a
cost of approx £23 for the pair to fit one cover

See my previous post though. We always fit the pair as a gasket alone will
    leak again.
