Is there any link that I could download Omega 2.5TD ('96) instruction book or other maintenance manual?

Go and have a chat with your friendly local dealer. The Vauxhall
instruction manuals can be bought cheaply from them.

    That might be an idea.
Privided they are friendly, they are local, and they are 'dealers' in my part of the world ;-)

OK, one more question: I saw on amazon.co.uk Haynes Service book covering Omega.
Does this book cover also DIESEL engine (2.5TD) ??

    No it does not. http://tinyurl.com/4onr8

Most Haynes Vauxhall manuals don't cover diesel engine variants so they do a
separate manual for Vauxhall diesel engines. Unfortunately this manual does
    not cover your car because...
    Yes, it's a de-specced BMW engine. I believe the designations were 25TD,
U25TD and X25TD. Unfortunately I don't think there is a Haynes manual for
    this engine.

However, all is not lost. The actual workshop manuals on CD used by
Vauxhall dealerships are constantly updated, so old ones are always
available on eBay for low money. This guy sells Vauxhall ones which will
    doubtless cover your Omega: http://tinyurl.com/6taub

Not sure if they'll have all the 'hand-holding' instructions as the Haynes
manuals do but, obviously, they are very technically comprehensive. Worth a
punt I'd say, although a reasonable mechanical knowledge may be required to
get the most out of them.

    Thank you, Dave and Steve.
And how about automatic transmission gearbox in Haynes?
If not, probably shall get a German book...

PS. I ordered that 2-CD set; actually, the seller the_executioner2004 seems to be much much cheaper :)
