Omega Heater 2.5 TD

I have a problem with heat distribution on 2.5 TD. There is no suction at
the back of the distribution control. Can anyone confirm that the black and
green suction hose on the EGR valve is the vacuum supply for the heater
control, and if so, whether there is anything I can do to repair or whether
it is a new EGR valve which looks expensive.

Cant see why you need a new egr - heater may use same vac pipe but is
nothing to do with egr. Have you followed the pipe from in the car to under
the bonnet? Does it use servo pipe as a source for it's vacuum?
