Anybody know how to remove an Omega glove box lid? I've got a new catch to
fit, but it's almost impossible to do with it in situ.

    Thanks,

    Not a nice job these.
Open the glove box. look up, 3 torx screws holding the air bag down, take
them out ( air bag will be fine ).
Pull off the end dash trim cover. Lots of torx screws behind it (can't
    remember how many ).
Take them all out until the air vent comes off. More screws behind it.
Open the lid again and facing you are 4 more screws 2 at the bottom and if
you GENTLY push the air bag up 2 more.
Pull the glove box out and disconnect the light.
Well, that's what i think you do.

Thanks for your help. Good old Vauxhall. They always have to make a simple
    job last the weekend!
