    Hi All,

If anybody could please help... a question (or two, or three :) I have a 97
Omega 2.5 CDX and the temp display in the MID went wappy (erratic, then F)
so I fitted a new sensor (nearside under bumper). The display still reads F
for outside temp, all other functions are OK.

I have read somewhere that faults on the later Omegas are 'logged' and just
replacing the faulty part is not enough, the system has to be cleared /
reset by the main dealer (tech 2, I presume). I did disconnect the battery
for several hours as that should reset the system... no luck. What I'd like
    to know is...

    a) is that correct?

    b) or is there another way to reset the computer, ie by button presses etc.

    c) is there something else I should check, test, hit with a hammer? ;-)

Any help would be appreciated, I know it's a common (and not that important)
fault but it annoys the hell out of me as the car is nigh on perfect apart
    from that niggle.

    Thanks in advance, cr@zyman.
