oil filter removal on astra 2.0 DTI

I`ve got the new filter , element type not canister and can see the housing
in front of the engine. lots of plumbing in the way ,which bits do I move?

Just remove the plastic bowl with the nut shaped end to it. Do not apply too
much force you do not want to break it! Be prepared for some oil spillage.
I usually let the oil drain for a while before reoving the filter bowl as it
lessens the spillage.

Just unscrew the big air intake pipe that goes to the manifold and push it
out the way.
