Nissan Micra Fuse Box (yea, I know!)

Before anyone has a go, I KNOW this is a NewsGroup for Vauxhalls, but there
are some knowledgeable people in here, and there's not many resources (that
I can find) for Nissans in the UK, so I thought I'd give it a shot...
I do have an Astra, by the way, so I suppose I have some small right to be
    here :)
If anyone knows of a more suitable place to ask, let me know and I'll go
    there...

My wife's Micra (1997 P-Reg) has just suffered some mega-electrical short,
and blown both main headlamp fuses in a most spectacular fashion. The fuses
have melted, and destroyed the fuse sockets, so looks like I'm going to have
to replace the fusebox (the one that is under the bonnet, not the one next
to the steering wheel). Just wondered if anyone has ever done this on a
Nissan Micra, and how difficult a job it is?

    Cheers,

    Chris.

My mrs' has a 1999 Micra, and I had to replace a fuse in the box under the
bonnet after fitting an after market stereo, something to do with the way
the return is wired. I found this web site:

    http://www.micra.com.au/

They are based in Oz so it may take a few hours to get a reply with the time
    difference etc.

Thanks for your that. I've posted a message on that site, and have got a
response already(from someone else in the UK). Hasn't actually answered my
question yet, but seems to know what he's talking about...

    Cheers,

    Chris.
