I have 2010 1.7 cdti eco Astra. In December 2021, I had a problem in that the handbrake froze on (electric), since then I have had 2 incidents where the car will be driving fine then all of a sudden the steering wheel starts shaking and it feels like it doesn't want to move. The driver's side fron wheel always smells really hot when this happens. It's been in 2 different garages and no one can find what the problem is, I love the car but have lost all confidence in driving it and got a long journey to do next week. Anyone else had this or have any suggestions??
