whats the mot deal with these

the cavs just failed on the abs light staying on (as well as sky high
    emissions)

anyone know the law when it comes to abs lights is it ok just to whip the
    bulb out ?

  2. You can't just whip the bulb out you moron as it will still fail.
Try cleaning all of the wheel sensors.

As for the emissions put anew oil and air filter in and weaken the mixture.

Remove the dash and wire the ABS light into one of the other check lights
(the ones that come on when you switch on the ignition and go out after a
few seconds.) That way all will look normal.
That is, Of course, if you want to cheat the system. It will not fix your
ABS, you will forget it is broken and in the not too distant future you will
crash.Police investigators will go over the car with a fine toothcomb, after
the blood has been washed out of the car, and find what you did, blame you,
your surviving family will be sued for everything and will have to live
under a bridge somewhere wrapped in newspaper.
Is that what you want ?
IS THAT WHAT YOU WANT ?

Sorry, I do tend to go on a bit !
