mk3 astra ecu fault codes

Hi, does anybody know how to read the ECU fault codes on a mk3 astra 1.6 16v
without having a code reader?
Any help would be much appreciated.

look on the web, u can do it.

if u can't find it, ask again, i've got the url somewhere.

very simple though, just a paper clip across pins

Does anyone know which pins you have to connect?
I know its A and B, but which ones are A and B?
