    Hi All,

Wife's Meriva Enjoy 1.6 Easytronic is coming up for its' first (2
    year/20,000 mile) Service.

Car has done just over 8,000 miles

Can anyone tell me the approximate cost of this service at a Vauxhall Main
    Dealership?

What part of the country are you in? It can vary significantly but I
would guess between £100 and £200 with only the more expensive areas
    above £150.

It is expensive but it is only every two years. They will use a high
quality semi-synthetic oil and a genuine oil filter. Make sure they
also check it on the rework/recall register (we do this automatically)
to see if there are any non-recall free upgrades/reworks on the car.

Having it done at a dealer will ensure that Vauxhall and the dealer
will look at you favourably if you ever need a goodwill warranty claim.
It will also maximise the used car value when you come to part-exhange
    it.
