M reg Astra pollen filter location

Hi all,
got a new pollen filter for the astra, and want to be sure I`m getting
access to the correct part of the car before I start taking bits off. i`ve
been told that it is hidden behind the glove box, or under the plastic trim
immediately below the windscreen.

Anyone know for sure which is the correct answeer, and the easiest way to
gain access?

Not sure which Astra you have but this website lists pollen filter
location & fitting instructions for most models.

Under the bonnet behind the trim in front of the screen. Just pull the
rubber strip off that runs along the edge of the bulkhead and then lift up
the trim.
