I have a 2015 1.4 Turbo Mokka which had an error code 89. This was code read by the garage and diagnosed as a coolant thermostat fault. Advised it will be alright to leave till the service/MOT which was in a few weeks. Car drove absolutely fine during this time. Dropped off at the garage Monday for its annual service, MOT and repair work as above. Passed MOT and called to collect car Tuesday. Collected car and as we were driving away car went into limp mode. Took back to garage who still have the car 48 hours later!! and are trying to find the issue.... surely the car wouldn't just go into limp mode when it drove perfectly fine before the service/MOT/repair work?
