light that wont go off

    A light has just appeared on my dashboard and wont go off. When reading
    the manual it says that there is a fault with the immobilizer system,
    but i have done all that it says in the book and it wont go off, the
    light is like a tap i no it sounds stupid but its the only way i can
    describe it does anyone have any suggesting on what it can be or what i
    can do.
