latest on my stalling vectra

ive notice when looking under the bonet that the engine breather pipe going
to the air intake was broken off and gunged up with oil,,,,,, that cant be
good, does anyone think that could cause the car to stall?

yes!
and clean the access hole mounting on the engine out with a piece of wire
might not be an idea the unbolt it if you can & see if the little guass
filter is clear also (if you have this type)
