Insignia boot release.

    Hi I have a 2012 insignia and tried to release the boot lock this morning but it wouldn't release. The solenoid is buzzing but not releasing. I understand that the release button sometimes fails and it's a common fault. Could this be the problem? Also does anyone know how to release the boot manually .
