I am unable to determine whether or not my Insignia has a DPF. I am about to change the oil for the first time since acquiring the car. The handbook lists different specs for oil depending on whether the vehicle is petrol, [B]diesel[/B] [B]without[/B] [B]DPF[/B] or diesel with DPF. I contacted a Vauxhall main dealer and was informed that all diesel cars from around 2008 onwards definately have a DPF fitted. I didn't argue the point but I have two other diesel vehicles (not Vauxhall) that do not have a DPF. I used to own a Fiat Bravo 1.6 diesel with DPF, the symbol was illuminated on the dashboard at start up. Can anyone tell me where to find this information?
