    Hey all.......great forum........very useful

anyway i have a vectra 1.8 gls, ive fitted a piper cross induction kit, and
an ecotek valve to it to get a bit more ummffffff out of it but want to
speed it up a bit more any ideas of how i can do this with out chipping it.
Also please no funny remarks for me to go buy a GSi id love to but simply
insurance and cost would blow me away.

    Ideas appreciated

    thanks you all

You do realise an EcoTek 'valve' is a piece of crap that does nothing
accept con people out of money ?
Even 'chipping' it wouldn't make it significantly faster.
The GSi is ok, not stunningly fast but a half decent cruiser.

The cheapest solution that would give you what you want is nitrous. The
best solution *would* be a new car.
Modifying your car to make it faster will also load your insurance. Or
were you planning on falsifying your details ?

There is no answer to what you want, there is no way to make your car
faster without spending time and money - and if you do anything
significant to it your insurance will spiral upwards. It sounds like you
subscribe to the Max Power generation, unfortunately in the real world
filters and zorsts and chips will do approxiamately *nothing* for you on
a normally aspirated car other than make noise.
