Heater problem

    Hi,
    I have a 2003 Zafira and the heater has packed up, any help would be very much appreciated.
    The heater control does not work, the AC does not work and the rear window heater doesn't either.
    After much playing about with it I have found that if you hold the ignition key between ignition on and turning the engine over all works perfectly. But as soon as you let go off the key or start the engine all fail again,
    Any ideas?
