Good news about Madeleine McCann

I'm delighted that the Madeleine case is still open and that the press are
still reporting on the whole thing, especially the 1st anniversary - as luck
would have it, my car's MOT test was carried out the day she disappeared, so
this acted as a useful reminder for me to get this years test done.

Please may I take this opportunity to try to console Gerry and Kate by
reminding them that "every cloud has a silver lining": it only failed on a
brake light bulb.

I thought the good news was that they are expecting the press to die down
(read "they have run out of ideas to feed the press") and we won't have to
listen to their smokescreen stories any more. I mean, why didn't they
commission an artists impression of an old silent film baddie complete with
top hat and evil moustache! The one they did was just as obvious.
