I am helping out me ex wife to get her Astra through an MOT so she can tax it.
It needs parts from the main dealer that is closed at the moment but it also need 2 new front tyres,
The trouble is it has security bolts and she has no idea where the security socket adaptor is. Or there was ever one in the first place.
Garage says it is about £80 to remove them but should be able to get replacement from the main dealer but they are in lock down.
I was wondering the heads of the bolts are hardened and whether I can drill the heads off. I am guessing they are hardened though.
