    Hi All
Have a 51 Vectra - last of the old shape and have lost power to the
cigarette lighter and can't run the hands free phone kit. I think it is
probably the fuse, but can't locate it! I have tried to measure voltage
(with ignition on) at the socket to no avail and have taken the dash pod out
to check wiring. Also checked several of the fuses - especially the 20/30
amp ones, but with no success.
Has anybody which fuse it is, please? and it's location - the ones I have
checked are under the dash (RHS of steering column).
Problem occurred when I plugged in a rather tight plug from a different
battery charger and it half pulled out the socket, but as I said earlier
I've checked the wiring is properly seated - also checked the small light at
the side of it (with the side lights on) and there was nothing.
    Any other ideas welcome.
    Thanks
    Hew

Fuse is in the dash where you have been looking. Cant remember which one
but should be easy enough to find. Just put ignition on and measure voltage
at both sides of each fuse. The one with only voltage at one side has blown.
