Dads frontera failed its MOT earlier this year on brake pipes
he replaced them with no probs, we bled the system but next day no brakes!
a friends brother pressurised the brake system and all seemed ok but again,
    the next day no brakes
he has checked all obvious things and everything seems ok, but now the
winter is coming he needs it back on the road
    anyone have any ideas?

if you open up a bleed nipple after it has 'failed' do you get fluid forced
    out immediately?
if not, I'd plumb for an air leak letting the pressure go.
check all the union joints again

There is a bleed nipple on the load valve on the rear brakes - have you bled
    that one too?
