Is the free insurance for 19 yearolds only on the sxi model and is there
any dealerships offering the car at a reasonable price with the free
    insurance promotion?

    Cheers

Choose one years' free insurance - available on Tigra (all models),
Corsa Active, Breeze, SXi and SXi+, and Astra SXi - and a major part of
your annual motoring bill is paid for you in advance! Our policy
provides fully comprehensive cover for drivers aged 21-80 on the Corsa
models listed, or aged 25-80 on Tigra and Astra SXi models.

Free insurance is available to drivers aged between 19-80 when
purchasing a Corsa Active, Breeze, SXi or SXi+ (excl. 1.8i 16v models)
in conjunction with Vauxhall Choices Finance (not available in Northern
Ireland or to Vauxhall Partners and Associates).

In other words a 19 year old will need to have a reasonable credit
    rating to get Choices finance.

As far as the deal is concerned, most dealers will refuse to discount
the car if you have free insurance. The deal is good enough without
them giving away what little is left already!

  4. Hi, i got a 03 reg vauxhall corsa SXI, i brought , at the time i was 21,
which enabled me to qualify for the "free insurance" had to be 21 of order
    to get this.

my car was worth about £8000, i paid about £3000 desposit and the rest of 3
years at 0% finanace, which worked out for me at about £130 a month.

I think is was only on the sxi model, i dont quite know what they doing now,
but i would say near enough the same kind of deal that i had 3 years ago.

I have actually just paid it all off, what a treat!
