Anyone know where I can get info on how to fit a replacement drivers door
    mirror on my 2005 Corsa?

Mirror is electrically heated and controlled.

Anyone know a source of such a mirror at a reasonable price?

    Cheers

You occasionally see them on eBay - the standard ones should be
obtainable around £20-40. The SRi mirrors (with the two sticks that
attach it to the car) are much more expensive - nearly £200 each from
Vauxhall and they tend to hold their value well - apart from the nicked
ones on eBay that come without baseplates.

The plastic cover on the inside of the door (housing the tweeter
speaker and behind the mirror) just pops off - it's held on by about 4
popper clips. These frequently break but cost less than 10p each from a
Vauxhall dealer. I used a large screwdriver with a cloth wrapped over
the end to prise the cover off the door.

Underneath the cover there is the speaker, a foam insert and then there
should be some screws that hold the mirror to the door. Unclip the
cable connector that powers the mirror and unscrew the mirror. Reverse
the process to fit new one.

If you meant the glass only, it is even easier. They are not cheap but
a Vauxhall one is better. Don't be tempted with the cheapy 'stick it on
top of the broken mirror' ones. they look awful!

You can prise out the old glass fairly easily. It clips in in 2 or 3
places. Once out unplug the 2 cables. Fitting the replacement is easy
but apply even pressure or you will break it.

My Parts Dept will normally offer to fit it for you for free. I would
ask if tehy will do this for you. That way they pay if they break the
    glass!

    Thanks chaps

Managed to do it this afternoon.

I broke 2 of the clips holding the trim, and popping the new mirror onto the
3 points in the housing was a pain, but at least I didn't break the glass.

The whole kit, minus the motor was £150 from my local dealer. I bought a
Vauxhall partly cos I thought such things would be cheap to repair. Dread to
thing what it would cost for a prestige German brand.

    Cheers

I think this is where Vauxhall make there money! Just be grateful it is
not a Merc one with an integral indicator though!
