fitting 3 litre engine into 2.5 omega

Hi, has any one here fitted or tryed to fit a 3 litre lump in place of the
original 2.5 engine on an Omega. Can it be done quite easily and what parts
would I need to change?

Why?

For the price of them, just buy a 3 litre. Bear in mind that you *may* have
more difficulty insuring a car with a swapped engine than one that came with it
as standard.
