Hi. I hope you can help me. I am basically trying to work out of my Vectra is finished. Would be such a pity, it is in great condition, and has done only 62,000 miles.

Put in for MOT this morning and failing. The initial failure points were:

    - Brake pipe corroded.
    - Something wrong with calipers, need possible replacement.
    - multiple error codes. see below:

P0110 - Intake Air temperature sensor circuit high intake

    - Camshaft position sensor circuit no signal.
    - Exhaust camshaft phasing mechanical reference position. Range performance.
    - Replace electronic control unit.

After the failed MOT I decided not proceed with the repairs, as I am short of cash at the moment, and needed to think about things.Oddly, when I picked up the car from the garage they said the calliper issue was fixed after they sprayed something on it (though it is still part of my fail,) and that the error codes have “been cleared.”

I just do not what to do now. I would hate to take it to another garage get a second MOT done with repairs, and the error codes re-appear (I doubt I could afford to replace the ECU etc.) Please advise me how to proceed here. Thanks!
