Engine problem

    Hi, new to here, so hope I get this right. I have a 09 insignia 2.0 cdti elite, oil warning light came on(to late surprise), but damage done knocking I gather this is a bad fault with these. Anyway talking with a friend who informed me I could fit a 1.9 cdti 150bhp engine into it, and having a engine in my garage with only 79k on it my question is CAN I swap a vectra engine into my insignia. Any help/advice really appreciated. Thanks in advance.
