Electrical problem / alternator or battery?

    Hi
    I have a 2007 vectra design 1.8 petrol ecotec engine.

    I bought the car with a bad battery. I put a battery from a 1.6 focus which was left sitting for about 6 months so i charged it indoors.

    I put it in my vectra. It starts the car and has done for the last 3 weeks but it seems to go weak on a short drive (like its not charging properly).
    Also, all the lights inside and outside of the car flicker / dim under any power load.

    Not sure if i need to replace alternator or battery or modules etc

    Any help would be great!
