I have a Y reg astra which is showing a fault on the exhaust emissions on
the dashboard. I have had the codes pulled and it says it is the EGR valve
but I have been told there are two different types of valves. One costing
    £70 the other £180.

My questions is where the heck is the EGR valve and what does it look like
so I know which one to order.

You will have to pay for the more expensive one!
Now that the shocking bit is out of the way, one of two things will happen.

a: you are mentally prepared to pay 180 notes
    or
b: big sigh of relief as you escape a big bill.

    Good luck
