Door Seal

Does anyone have any experience replacing a
door seal? We have an Astra estate 2001 and the seal is
shredded on the driver's side, thanks to vandalism.
 
Do you mean the big seal that goes all the way around the door hole? It just
pulls off if you do.
 
Ah, yeah - that's the one. I wasn't sure if it was glued on or some strange
thing. Sounds like I'll be able to do it myself then, cheers!
 
Just make sure you put it tight into all the corners or it will appear too
long.
 
Yep, replaced this the other day in mum's car,
seemed too long at first, as you said - but went
in nice and neat with a bit of tapping.
