Does the CDR 500 normally 'jump' so much

Discussion in 'General Motoring' started by Chris Peacock, Feb 27, 2004.

  1. The CDR 500 unit I have in our Sintra tends to jump quite a bit when going
over bumps? The CD unit in my Escort never jumps/skips even on the bumpiest
of Devon roads. Is this normal or could it be sign of dodgy laser
    alignment??

    Cheers, Chris.

how about a lense cleaner disc?

and try ( if you have them)
putting the transit screws back it again
    then out.
it may have jumped the springs

    then maybe blame the laser

I have never had a CD jump in a CDR500 and I have had one for 5 years or
    more.
