I have found a small crack about 2" long in the plastic 'front bumper' of my
Vectra. It is hardly noticeable but I fear it may spread. It's right on the
bend and I suspect it has been just touched by another car in a car park or
    similar.
I can get behind it and was wondering whether it would be worth sticking a
patch at the back of it with something like Araldite.
    Any advice welcome.
    Regards.
    Dave.

If you can afford it this sounds just the type of repair for Chips
Away or a similar "smart" repairer - probably £50 or less for an
invisible repair including painting as good as new. I doubt it will
spread unless it is hit again. You can of course get plastic bumper
    repair filler from Halfords....

Thank you for that Brim. I was not aware of either.
