Corsa stereo

  1. Please can anyone tell me if a Blaupunkt car 300 will fit into my Corsa that
used to have a Grundig car 200. The Grundig has packed up and Ihave slotted
in a Blaupunkt from an Astra same year model 1996.

The code light flashes but SAFE comes up on the dis[play panel in the dash.

Is it possible to overcome this.

Also can a new locking cover cap tool be purchased as I have lost mine from
the alloys. They are original vauxhall fit on a 1.4i Premier.

    Any help would be appreciated.

the "safe" coming up on the dash display means you have to enter the
security code for the stereo, The person who's car ( Astra) it came from
can easily obtain it from a dealer although they will probably charge £10 or
    so.

you need the code, about £10-£15 quid.
might be a problem if you have not got the 'piece' of paper with the details
    of the nut code on.

try ringing a main dealer, it should be on their database.
    not sure on cost

  4. Have now got it sorted. The code came with radio and had to enter it in a
certain way. Also went to Vauxhall and bought new set of locking cover caps
    and the key for £16.00.

    Thanks for the replies.
