Please can anyone tell me when the timing belt

On a Corsa Sport 1.6 16v needs to be changed.

I have been told different times by friends.

CORSA SPORT TIMING BELT SERVICEAcording to the haynes models pre 95 every 36,000 miles or 4 years which ever comes first and on 95 onward 40,000 or 4 years which ever comes first
