    Hi peeps,
My corsa (1.2 - 16v) has some water getting into the oil, now this has been
happening over months and months, but the thing is it's not due to water
coming across for the cooling system, the level in there never drops.
So I was wondering if anybody has any ideas on where the water's getting
    in/coming from?

If the car is used for lots of short journeys then any moisture in the
cam/crankcase never gets chance to dry out completely & hence some
'mayo' can occur. If the car is use don long runs & is behaving like
    this then I dunno ......

Yep - common problem in Astra engines as well - mayo in the oil cap - mine
has done that since new. Coolant stays at the same level.

Changing to synthetic oil has helped - hot summer days it will go away
entirely - but come back as the colder weather arrives. The more
condensation in the air the worse the gunk. Just clean out the gunk every
time u check the oil and dont worry about it.
