Corsa flat battery

    Hi there,i have 2007 1200cc corsa,the battery went flat after the car was laid uo for a bit ,I have put a new battery on it ,when I turn the key ,the lights all light up ,but the engine will not turn over ,can anyone please help,thanks,ivan.
