My 2002 Corsa 1.2 comfort (petrol manual gearbox.) has the engine light come up on the dash , I've fitted a new EGR valve but the light still appears , if I put my code reader on the car it reads and displays P1405 management control , I can clear the fault then when i start up the car again within a minute or two the car with spanner light appears on the dash. ( If i disconnect the battery sometimes this clears the fault lights as well , but they always reappear eventually ) What could cause this ? Is it the Mass airflow sensor which is situated near the air filter needs cleaning ?
