corsa 2000v mw radio reception

Hi there

when the engine is off, the reception of the radio on mw is perfect (as
is fm)
but as soon as i start the car, the mw reception gets a lot worse, like
there is interferenece, fm is perfect though

any idea what the problem could be?

Probably fine the co ax is loose at the aerial base - just lower the
headlining slightly and check the connection at the base - it is the one
covered in foam so you will need to pull the foam off.
