Corsa 1.3 CDti first service mileage, and oil

I can find very little info about this new diesel engine, so can anyone tell
me at what mileage the very first service should be (presumably not 30,000
miles), and what oil should be used in the engine, semi-synth? Even the
handbook and service record with my car has no reference to the CDti engine!

There should have been a cdti supplement with the service book.

The interval is 30,000 miles or 2 years (whichever comes first) providing
you use the very expensive Vauxhall spec fully synthetic oil.

Thanks for the reply, just what I needed to know.
The car (my new company car) was bought with 7300 on the clock, so although
it's 'as new', it didn't have this cdti supplement, and there is little
info,
even on Vauxhall's website, about the engine.
The car is showing the 'Insp' message at start up, so I wondered if it
needed a 1000mile(or whatever) first service?

There is no first 1,000 mile service so I presume the supplying dealer
forgot to reset the warning at PDI.

I think you can reset it by turning on the ignition with the trip counter
button pressed but cannot be sure. This will stop it reporting at the
correct mileage/date though.

Ahh!
Thanks Alan, thanks for your info. I think thats it, the display has not
been reset before delivery. My company will be very pleased not to have to
pay out for an un-needed 'first' service, and I'm happy because I asked for
the CDti engine because of the long service schedule.
Now I'm even more pleased with my Corsa CDti!

my Corsa 1.3 CDti was serviced at 20,000 miles as per vauxhall service
intervals and not 30,000 as stated on here!!!

I agree with Liam, my wife's Corsa 1.3 CDti is a 1 yearly or 20,000 mile /
30,000 Km service. Great car sofar and quite nippy for a 1.3 engine.
