I have been told by Vauxhall that my 98 Omega is not covered on the
corrosion warranty because of high mileage and no Vauxhall service history
(Problem with paint bubbling on top edge of door under and around window
    seal rubber
common fault I believe) Has anyone had a similar problem and our Vauxhall
right not to rectify the fault. My vehicle is serviced regularly and
bodywork is wax ever 4 to 5 months or so

I have been told by Vauxhall that my 98 Omega is not covered on the
No Vauxhall service history, no paint warranty.

And anyway, at five years old and 170,000 miles, I think this comes into the
category of reasonable wear and tear.

Warrenty is 1 year or three years (or 60K miles), if serviced by Vx.
*Depending* on purchase date. ISTR that 3 years applied from 2000 on.

Corrosion warranty is 6 years and is "anti perforation" - untreated
stone chips are not covered. The annual anti-perforation inspection must
    also be carried out.

Vauxhall say in black and white -No inspection checks then no cover. Your
service booklet will have pages specifically for the anti corrosion cover
checks. You made the choice not to comply with their warrantee conditions
so do not moan when almost at end of expected warrantee period a problem
emerges. By the way if your car had done 170K but was serviced and
inspected by them, then my response would have been quite different.
