Whereabouts is the coolant sensor on a Vectra V6 ?

I assumed it would be around the expansion tank, but I couldn't see
anything obvious from a quick look...

  2. If it helps

On my Corsa its on the engine side of the radiator bottom right corner
(looking at front of car) its a big bugger (30mm Brass Nut) with the
connector being a round plug in jobby.

Could you be more specific as to which coolant sensor. i.e. radiator fan,
coolant temp gauge, or engine managment?

The one that triggers a coolant senor check warning on the trip computer
    display :)

I assume that's the engine management one...

The coolant level I mean btw, that's why I assumed it was around the
    expansion tank.

  6. If your V6 uses the same bottle as my Omega V6 (i expect so), the sensor for
the level is underneath the bottle in the middle of it. Really need the
bottle removing/draining to be able to get at it...

My 'coolant level' sign has come on today as well! Nearly crapped myself as
I was in the outside lane of the M5 when it happened...

Would be interested to now how you fix your problem...

    Good luck!
