    Paul,
Find your V.I.N plate, (on the door jam or on the slam panel
under the bonnet) Look for the 17 digit number. Below that you will
    find letters and numbers. E.G N574 203.
The first "set"(N574) is your trim code, the next is your paint
    code (203)
Take ALL numbers off the vin plate to ensure you get the correct
    paint.
    Hope this helps,

OK so why when I went into my local Vauxhall dealer quoting the colour code
Z151. The colour match was awful. I got my money back, went to another
Vauxhall dealer and they even came out and got the colour code from the
black label inside the drivers door pillar. They gave me L151. I questioned
this as it was not Z however was told to give it a try. Just the same very
bad colour match. What do you suggest is try. How do I get a correct colour
    match?

I was told by the dealer that silver was very difficult to match. I have had
4 previous Vauxhalls, Red, White, Blue and Savannah, all these matched
perfectly from the colour code from the car.

What do you suggest as the stone chips currently look awful.
