coil pack vauxhall corsa c 1.4xe design

Hi All

Anyone adivse wife been told by Vauxhall today that she required a new
coil pack on her 54 plate corsa 1.4. Cost for Vauxhall to supply and is
£200. Just checked ebay they want £30-£50 plus postage.

Are these easy to fit or should I allow Vauxhall to supply and fit


Any help appreciated

Some aftermarket items are pretty poor quality compared to original
equipment and may fail soon after fitting. Perhaps they are changing
all four coil packs? .... plus a labour charge on top of course. You
could check with a quality supplier like Autovaux what they would

Send me the type of engine that you have and i will inform you for the
cost
is it Z14XEP or older engine?

The cost in genuine is about the same (251 euros-198£)

In not genuine but OEM (BOSCH) is 130£ (165 euros)
