of the in dash light(as i dont have one due to digi dash)

now got a wee problem where the car wont start and i dont know where to
    begin(poss cranksensor failure)

I'd caution you on this - I bought a similar unit from halfrauds - a
Gunsen, I think, which showed a LED on the front packaging. Once I'd got
it home and opened it up, the box had no LED, and there was a clause in
the instructions that went along the lines of "In the case of <the
Cavalier I had at the time> there is no LED on the unit, use the Engine
Fault Light in the cabin instead"

I needed one because I suspected a failed engine fault light; turned out
the scrote who'd owned the car before had removed the light before
    trading the car in.
