Doors are refusing to open (sometimes)

Different doors intermittently refuse to unlock (or lock).

Is this a common problem? Does anyone know the most common causes?

    low volts?
    poor earth?
    wires thru door pillars chaffing?
general service on soloniods/door bolts needed (bit of grease)?

    Thanks ...

    I'll try that lot ... systematically ...

I feel pretty sure the problem is "minor electrical", rather than "major
    electronic" ..

    I'll let you know

one of favorite tricks is to pull the correct fuse & put a peak hold ammeter
    in place of it.
operate the central several times & see if u get diff results.
that will trll u if something 'tried' to open but couldn't (i'e current same
but one door did not open) sticky sol/bolt
or if the current is lower than a good unlock, then power can't be getting
    to a sol/bolt
