    Hi

I have a Zafira CDTI 150 auto (2006) (or rather my wife has one). I have
noticed that when pulling away from standing, there is a huge delay between
pressing the accelerator, and the engine responding - to the point that I
will be getting rid of the car - it is impossible to drive in heavy
traffic - pulling out at busy junctions etc.
I estimate the delay to be about 1 second - this doesn't sound much, but
believe me it is huge when you're at a busy roundabout. After the delay, it
goes like the clappers as you would expect of a 150, but that's no use.

I have had a mixture of auto's and manuals for years, so I feel I should
know what to expect, - this is just crap. I drove it back from Cornwall
yesterday, and decided I hate it.

I'd like to know if this is normal for a CDTI 150 auto, or if mine has a
fault. ~It has been into the dealer 3 times for problems (not this problem
in particular)- - swirl actuators failed and egr problems, but this has all
been supposedly rectified, and the car performed like this from new.

    I'd appreciate any feedback

    Milo
