Please can anyone tell me if the new vauxhall CD30 MP3 has 10 pre-sets
    and an under-dial cd-slot or an over-dial cd-slot and only 6 pre-sets.
The reason I ask is that different pictures show a different story, but
all have the same name - CD30 MP3...

Also has anyone any details when I can expect to purchase a mobile
cradle for a Sony Ericsson K800i for my bluetooth unit in my soon to be
    purchased Astra Sport Hatch?

Finally, can anyone shed some light on where to get the manual for the
CD30 MP3? MyVauxhall at vauxhall.co.uk doesn't have it to download.

    Thanks, Colin

I have the CD30 MP3 in my Corsa, six buttons and over dial CD slot. Any
questions you have I will check my manual and try to answer.

I am pretty sure that the 10 button unit is the one with the built in
telephone and if it has more than one CD slot it will be the SatNav unit as
    well.

    Thanks for the reply Ian,

Check out these photos... one is from Opel.at and one is from Opel.de
(as vauxhall.co.uk is useless for photos).

I'm collecting the car on the 1st, but ATM I'm just eager to know what
set up I'm having. looking through windows of Astra's in car parks and
so (as you do(?)) I've noticed that they are six button setups, but in
the latest brochure of the Astra it looks like 10 buttons...

    Mike,

As I mentioned in my other post, the car hasn't been picked up yet - so
it's hard to explain ATM. There is a purpose-built module behind the
handbrake for the mobile. One has to buy a cradle from Vauxhall to fit
the phone. Vauxhall hasn't produced this cradle yet, but I was
wondering if I could get the exact one I'm looking for off the net? I
suppose that only time will tell.

    Cheers, Colin

Yup!, peering through windows, but usually just at dealerships. My unit is
definitely the one in the top link with 6 buttons and cd slot at the top.
It was only an extra £60 when I ordered mine, 1st attempt online in August
2004 then finally at a dealer in December 2004 but car was not delivered
until June 2005 [long story]. It could be that the Astra one has a
different layout or if the bluetooth phone option is included then you can
use the radio buttons to make calls, this was a combined option with the
satnav unit on the Corsa. I did notice whilst flicking between the two
images that the display unit is the same so none of these vehicles would
    have the trip computer installed.
