    hi..

was replacing radio in car and looks like i shorted out the constant live
    line.
result is the radio works but only when ignition fully on.
can't seem to find fuse or such for this.
    any idea where it is.

    car is cavalier sri 2.0 16v 1993

Have you checked all of the fuses in the fusebox? There might also be an
inline fuse close to the back of the radio.

checked all the fuses in the main box. used dvm on all them.
hunting high and low for inline fuse.. which so far eludes me.
was going to run constant live from clock but to be honest would prefer to
    do it right.

    thanks for the help

Depending on the type of radio, sometimes there is a fuse which plugs into
    the back of it.

    yup.. done that.
    the fuse has 2 positions.
1 where it works via ignitions
2 where it gets live via battery and needs to be switched off

got it working this way right now.
but can't get it to work even when i run a live from clock to kl

also can't find any inline fuse..
